Moonlight

I can see the moonlight outside my window

And each beam of light melts away the ice the darkness has placed on my heart

All of the memories that have haunted my dreams give way to hope and inspiration

Things that have been hidden in that blank darkness for weeks, months, years, a lifetime….

Its miraculous how something so reoccurring and typical brought me back to life.
